As a Business Transition Consultant, Doug Sippel is passionate about helping closely held businesses successfully navigate the challenges of transitioning the ownership, leadership, and management of their company. He has a unique perspective, growing up in a multi-generational family business and being a Managing Partner in the business for the past 18 years. He has a wealth of personal experience with the issues closely held businesses face.

Doug founded Leadership Transitions, LLC to help others develop the necessary skills for successful transition of a closely held or family-owned business . He works with owners, family members, and their business stakeholders (Executives, Principals, and Directors) to develop communication, leadership, and delegation skills, as well as, creating an environment with high trust, values, and respect. 

Doug enjoys the outdoors including hiking, fishing, and golf. He and his wife Cheryl live in Beaverton, Oregon and have three grown children.
